The Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) has a new mailing address, effective July 20, 2020, for their central mailroom and medical bill processing.

If you currently have a U.S. Department of Labor Medical Benefits Card (White Card), the DEEOIC will issue a new card in the next few weeks to reflect the new address.  Please continue to use the existing card until you receive the replacement but make sure your provider(s) are aware of the new mailing address.

General Correspondence and Case Creation: You can submit general correspondence to the online Energy Document Portal at https://eclaimant.dol-esa.gov/portal.

However, if you prefer to use U.S. mail, you should send all correspondence and exhibits supporting your claim to the new address:

U.S. Department of Labor OWCP/DEEOIC
PO Box 8306
London, KY 40742-8306

Medical Bill Processing: If you have an approved claim, mail your medical bills with any applicable forms to:

U.S. Department of Labor OWCP/DEEOIC
PO Box 8304
London, KY 40742-8304

  • Write your last name and Case ID number on the top right-hand corner of all correspondence.
  • Do not send original documents such as certified birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates with a raised seal, or original pictures. The DEEOIC will not return these documents to you.

NOTE: During this transition, many forms will continue to have the San Antonio address; however, any mail sent to San Antonio, TX, will be forwarded to London, KY, which will delay processing. The DEEOIC is working on updating all program guidelines and resources to reflect the updated mailing address.
