The U.S. Congress designed the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) to take care of the health benefits of nuclear weapons and uranium workers who served our country during a critical time of our nuclear defense buildup. Workers who are approved will receive up to $400,000 in monetary compensation plus have the cost of medical care taken care of. EEOICPA and RECA gives workers the highest quality of unlimited coverage for qualifying illnesses.

If you receive approval for coverage under the program you will receive a U.S. Department of Labor White Medical Benefits Card. Use this card as the main insurance for all healthcare costs related to your approved diagnosis with no deductibles or caps in coverage. A partial list of things covered includes physician visits and charges, prescriptions, durable medical equipment, required testing and in-home nursing care. This coverage also allows for around-the-clock nursing care in your home if you need it for the care of your illness.
