U.S. Department of Justice Launches Online RECA Portal

Uranium workers experiencing illnesses caused by on‑the‑job radioactive exposure can now file their RECA claims online. The U.S. Department of Justice has launched a new online claims portal.

The new portal allows users to create a profile, file a claim, and review eligibility requirements. Applicants may upload scans of original or certified supporting documents to expedite claim processing; however, they should keep all the original documents if future verification is required.
