DOL Proposes Changes to EEOICPA Part B & E Rules

On Nov. 18, the Federal Register published a document outlining proposed changes to the rules administering the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). These changes were proposed by the Department of Labor (DOL) and are pending approval. The document states that the DOL is proposing the changes for the purpose of improving the administration of the Act and making the regulatory language of the claims decision-making process more clear.
