If you are a former or current nuclear weapons worker please search using the criteria on the right (or below if on mobile).
Former and current nuclear weapons and uranium workers are entitled to free periodic medical screenings to detect any illnesses that may have resulted from their exposure to radioactive or toxic substances in the workplace.
Medical screening is a strategy used to identify diseases or conditions in a select population at an early stage, often before signs and symptoms develop, and to refer individuals with suspicious findings to their personal physician or a specialist for further testing, diagnosis, and treatment.
Many of these programs also can provide guidance in filing claims for RECA and EEOICPA benefits.
