Nuclear & Uranium Museums

Nuclear & Uranium Museums

From Washington to Tennessee to Colorado, many states across the country have preserved the historical significance of building our nation’s nuclear deterrent during the Cold War through the creation of museums, historical societies and discovery centers. These facilities are often near former production plants or research buildings once used by workers, scientists, miners and engineers who paved the way for nuclear advancements and our nuclear weapons program.

Below is a list of the organizations and facilities across the U.S. of which we are aware. Please let us know if you’d like to add one to our list by emailing or (888) 903-8989.
