Hundreds of Nuclear Plant Workers Seek Compensation Info

Hundreds of former Oak Ridge plant workers attended town hall meetings around East Tennessee this week to ask questions and raise concerns about available medical benefits.

The workers, many in their 70s and 80s, came armed with medical paperwork to discuss various illnesses and injuries they are being treated for that could have been caused by their work for Department of Energy sites in Oak Ridge following the Manhattan Project and during the Cold War.
