Ken Silver reflects upon the 12th Official National Day of Remembrance

Ken Silver has applied his extensive scientific credentials to aid nuclear weapons complex and uranium industry workers to establish and compensate for their work-related illnesses for more than twenty years. His early worker advocacy in New Mexico contributed to the establishment of the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). Today, he serves as a scientific member of the US Department of Labor’s Advisory Board on Toxic Substances & Worker Health, as well as, an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health at East Tennessee State University. The video he created here spans the scope of the EEOICPA from its origins to the present day.
