Bipartisan Senators Urge Leadership to Reauthorize RECA before June

In a signed letter, thirty U.S. Senators implored U.S. Senate leaders to deliver justice to communities impacted by our government’s history of nuclear weapons development. Communities downwind of nuclear weapons testing and uranium development who became ill from exposure to toxic radiation could benefit from government recognition and compensation through the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).
