Advisory Board to discuss expanding coverage for Y-12 claimants 8/2019

The Advisory Board on Radiation and Worker Health will have an in-person meeting in Oak Ridge on August 21, 2019.  The meeting begins at 9 am and will end at approximately 7 pm.  It will be held at:

The new Special Exposure Cohort (SEC) petition will be presented to the board as The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has determined that they can reconstruct dose for workers employed at the Y-12 plant between August 1, 1979 and December 31, 2000.

The discussion on the Y-12 SEC petition will begin at 4:30 pm with public comments at 6 pm.

Cold War Patriots invites you to come and show support to expand SEC coverage and share your knowledge of the personal monitoring at Y-12 during the public comment period.

The board will also discuss the SEC petition for the West Valley Demonstration Project and the petition for Area IV of the Santa Susana Field Laboratory.
