Recipe Story:

Gloria and her husband were Rocky Flats Plant workers who spent a total of 25 years between them working
at the facility. They wanted to modify their diets and came up with a recipe that was equally as healthy as it
was tasty. This is when her recipe for Spicy Grilled Turkey Burgers was born. Gloria says that she and her husband enjoy their burgers just plain, but if they want to add a little more “kick,” they reach for the
barbecue sauce. This is not the first time Gloria’s turkey burger recipe has been published, it was also
featured in a local newspaper when she lived in Iowa.
