This week we learned that Congressional leaders have stripped a measure from this year’s defense policy bill that would have expanded compensation for victims of U.S. nuclear testing, drawing condemnation from supportive lawmakers and bitter disappointment from activists. While we are truly disappointed by this latest development, we will continue to champion and advocate for RECA expansion despite this setback.
