DEEOIC March Webinar to Focus on RECA

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation and the U.S. Department of Justice will hold a joint webinar on March 30, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time to present a look at the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).

The webinar will discuss:

• What is RECA?
• Coverage for Uranium Miners/Millers/Transporters.
• RECA claims – The path from DOJ to DOL.
• Sunset and filing details the upcoming expiration/sunset of the program, and the potential impact to the Energy Workers’ Compensation Program.
