President Obama Mandates DOL Advisory Board

Last week, President Barack Obama issued an Executive Order “Establishing the Advisory Board on Toxic Substances and Worker Health,” which creates a new Advisory Board for the Department of Labor. The Secretary of Labor, in consultation with organizations focused on worker health issues, will appoint board members to advise the Secretary of Labor on EEOICPA claims, and to coordinate the exchange of information with the Advisory Board on Radiation and Worker Health.
