Upcoming EEOICPA Events with the U.S. Department of Labor

Las Vegas, NV and Pahrump, NV

Individuals who worked at the Nevada Test Site, Tonopah Test Range, or other facilities involved in nuclear weapons production are invited to attend upcoming Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) information sessions and outreach events hosted by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).

These in-person events will provide attendees with detailed program information, individualized assistance, and opportunities to receive updates on existing claims and medical benefits.

JOTG Town Hall Meeting: Learn more

Las Vegas, NV
May 20, 2026 | 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

The Town Hall Meeting will include:

  • 9:00 am – 11:00 am: Presentations from the U.S. DOL, the DOL Office of the Ombudsman for EEOICPA, the Department of Energy (DOE), the DOE Former Worker Program, and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
  • 9:00 am – 4:00 pm: Meet with staff to file a new claim or get case status updates on current claims.

Energy Outreach Event: Learn More

Pahrump, NV
May 21, 2026 | 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

This outreach event will offer individualized support from program staff, including:

  • Information about EEOICPA
  • Assistance with filing new claims
  • Updates on existing claims
  • Assistance with medical benefits and related services

These events are designed to support current and former energy employees at any stage of the claims process. Family members and survivors are also encouraged to attend. Learn more about these events and others you can attend here.
