Announcement from CWP and PCM

As our country continues to work towards getting the COVID-19 pandemic contained, we understand that this can be a very trying time for our Cold War Patriots members. As many of you suffer from respiratory and other illnesses due to the service you provided for our nation’s defense, we want you to know that we will stay actively engaged in our nation’s response to this outbreak and will keep you informed.

Throughout the course of this health crisis and in partnership with Professional Case Management, our homecare, and impairment evaluation service provider and parent company, we will be taking the following steps.

• Keeping you informed. Via this website, our Facebook page, and email notifications, we will be providing periodic updates on news as it relates to the COVID-19 outbreak and EEOICPA program.
• Checking-in periodically. We will be checking in with you from time to time to make sure you are ok. We hope to be a friendly voice you can talk to during this time of limited social interaction.
• Canceling of in-person events. Based on the recommendation of the CDC, we are putting our in-person Cold War Patriots events on hold. We look forward to restarting our popular Worker’s Benefit and Wellness Conferences and DocTalk seminars, as well as our local community events, as soon as we get approval from the CDC.
• Hosting virtual events. Cold War Patriots was founded to be an advocate and an information source for this country’s nuclear weapons and uranium workers. During this time, we will continue to provide valuable information to our membership base by hosting periodic virtual events. Please go to our events page to see a list of our upcoming virtual events.

As we have done for over twelve years, we look forward to providing our Cold War Patriots with the support you have earned through the years of service and sacrifice you have given to our country. You can count on us to be there for you during this health crisis to provide you with relevant benefits information, as well as connecting you to the resources you need.
